is a Japanese language school in Davao City, Philippines.
Currently, Japan is experiencing serious human resources shortages in various fields, and it is said that in 2040,the labor force population will decrease by 15 million people. For portion that can not be supplemented by the evolution of robots and IT, we must borrow the more help of foreigners in the future.
On the other hand, despite stable economic development in the Philippines, the unemployment rate is high and income disparity is large. Although there has been a temporary staffing system and technical intern training program that can supplement the lacking parts in both countries, since 2017 the door to recruiting foreigners in the field of nursing care has expanded greatly and caregiver is recognized as a target occupation in the technical intern training program.
We established this school in 2017, convinced that in order to accept foreigners in the field of nursing care, which is an interpersonal service, we will need higher quality Japanese language education. And in 2018, our educational program was approved by Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
The philosophy we are dealing with the most is not only the involved parties foreign workers who work in Japan and Japanese companies who are the employers, as well as stakeholders, Japanese agencies, dispatch agencies in the Philippines and we, Sincere Japanese Skills Academy, Inc.(SJSA) will work sincerely to make everyone feel fulfillment and become happy.
SINCERE is an English word meaning “honesty”. We have included “Sincere” in the company name so that we always remember our philosophy.
We are mainly educating Japanese language and basic Japanese manners for Fillipino people whose goal is to work as a technical intern trainee or Specified Skilled Worker in Japan. So our educational programs have been approved by TESDA.
*Currently, there are also skill test preparation courses for the caregivers and Food service(FBS).
We are preparing enough conversation practice and role play for each students by limiting the number of students in one batch to about 15 people. The main teaching material is “Minna no Nihongo”, which has been used for many years in the Japanese language education field, while listening and kanji are taught in a well-balanced manner using supplementary teaching materials.
We equip Japanese style desks and chairs arrangement, so that students can listen to classes and can read textbooks in the correct posture, and make the student to write letters as carefully as possible.
We also have a dormitory, so students come from all over Mindanao Island as well as in Davao City. People in Mindanao are generally calm and friendly, so both classes and dormitories are at home. Dormitory students work together before and after class to work together on homework and self-study to improve their Japanese abilities.
